Im up for it.

I think the most effective attack would be Sabotage. The faults would probably not do much but it will force them to ask others to send bribe, tie up their numbers into wasting swords and CP they could send to us.

Well, that's what I hope it would do. Plus my saboteurs are so bored they now just waste time coming up stuff they want to do to Jon.

Like really really bad bad stuff.

Myrii, I think you already have Nym in your team. :P You may even get Freya.

I think we have to work out how many of us can craft and lets either let them volunteer or we volunteer them  to our team by ourselves.  *whip cracking sound effect here*

However it works out, we need to get it sorted asap. Once we know how many in each team and who they are, we can post the list here and start cracking in earnest!!!

In summary :

91 Trebuchets
600 Traders
50 Silver Torcs
133 Catapults
19 Vellum Scroll
30 Merchants
97 Lockboxes
134 Wagons
144 Gold Necklace
90 Mangonels
56 Caravans
20 Mercer

So basically there are 12 individual types. We can split it into 4 groups. Each of us take care of one group and keep tabs on what our gp are producing and only that.  so For example:

Myrii & team
91 Trebuchets
50 Silver Torcs
134 Wagons
30 Merchants

Bella & team
600 Traders
133 Catapults
144 Gold Necklace
97 Lockboxes

Henly & team
19 Vellum Scroll
90 Mangonels
56 Caravans
20 Mercer

That way, even when say Styr's team is producing traders to turn into merchants, he doesn't have to worry about dumping them cuz they are not needed to fill the 600 traders my team is doing. All he has to take care of are those merchants. So no overlap there. Same idea applies for wagons and catapults, etc etc.

Since my last post I have come to see the necessity for fight ans sabotage attacks. and the reasons for their use which I fully grasp so thank you, Freya.  :)

I think another route we can take (if we choose to, its not the most honorable route but still one nonetheless) would be the 'so what? in your faise!' alternative, which is to let them do as they please but not relent nor stop us being a constant PITA to them.

We are useless to them for VP, useless to them for Silver, yet taking everything from them without knowing when to quit. Bit devious I know but the more they attack us the more they will be wasting their time and open themselves up for attacks by others and we will still be knocking at their door. Call it the roaches approach if you will. After all, all we want is their silver not the VP (kinda like a gold-digger in an old folks' home. Actually, kinda like the All Fails, but with personality). [Edit] Basically I'm saying we become like the All Fail when they were such a pathetic nuisance last phase that we just ignored them. That could be us except we know we can take on those we attack anytime we want.

Here's an example of what I have in mind. It's a post from the DB forum:

My alliance has 3 level 10 plus camps and are being killed by an alliance with 3 level 3 camps.  For the better part of the past two days, we pounded at each other, keeping all of the camps at 100% damaged (Not to mention, since attacking larger camps earn more VP, I am sure there are a lot of other attacks coming our way as well).  At this point in time, it is too expense for us to fix our camps as it costs 6000 silver a %.  And the repairs don’t last long, as SSs die within minutes. Please correct me if I am wrong, but it’s my understanding that 100% damaged camps provide 0 benefit in attack/defense bonus and VP, so our camps are fairly worthless.  To make matters worse, because we have a higher camp level, winning a battle for us means we get a fraction of the VPs that they get.  So in the past 6 hours, my alliance has earned 1/3 of the VPs that our enemy has earned even though we are a bit larger in size and have higher camp values.

We can be like the low level attackers the person talked about

The risk in that is ofc they will come knocking at Westerlands and impede our progress there. But then again thats a risk with any response we choose. Anyway, it's an alternative way that, as i've said, is not the most honorable. Just thought I throw it out there.

I am confused as to the point of Iron Islands. If it is just for everyone to let loose and have fun satiating their bloodlust, then it makes no difference what we do and which actions we choose and where we attack and when. Free for all is fine by me.

But if the whole exercise is to at least give us a semblance of a chance at some rewards, then the free for all is counter productive. It can be argued that it makes no diff but for every sabotage/fight sent is a steal/harass missed.

Some clarity of purpose would be most appreciated cuz right now I'm as confused as heck.

I'm thinking of sending one of their random members this and see if they bite

"Tales spread quickly in the seven kingdoms. I have many sworn swords traveling Westeros and mayhaps have heard a tale or two of your missing leader.  There is a group of maesters with Valrayian Links on their chains, ousted by the Citadel. These Maesters were thought to be practicing the “higher arts” with the most sinister of intentions.

I’m afraid the SS with the best knowledge of their last rumored whereabouts is currently garrisoned at Golden Tooth in The Westerlands. He would require many barters to loosen his tongue on where the location of where these maesters may be gathering."
Brilliant!! Although may need spell check =P

Now I'm tempted to send one myself....

This is what they posted:

Sisters Of The Black Dread will be departing from Crimson Keep (House Bloodthorn) in the Mountains of the Moon and will be meeting a small ship at Gulltown. We will cross the Bay Of Crabs to Claw Isle and from there we will have a ferry waiting to take us to Dragon Stone .. Our search for Lady Bloodthorn begins ..

.. who will refuse our visit and who will welcome us in?

My reply:

Knights of the Winter Rose has heard whispers of terrible deeds and have seen troubling portents in the sky. Are you friend or foe? We will welcome you cautiously to our lands and hear what tales you have to tell.
This is such fun! Will they be paying us all individually a visit? Will I get a raven or some of them knocking at my PtP window pane? =P

Took the new quiz and got Drogo again so I am pretty sure I am going to die this AvA phase from some sort of infection from a flesh wound.   If I get hurt please keep Bella away from me she reminds me of.....
