I've always enjoyed reading the Asian Saga by James Clavell.

Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen series was awesome as well.

Because it's from the Harry Potter universe is exactly why I didn't choose it.   :P

I'm Canadian,  hockey is my religion, what more is there to say.  ;D

I'll be able to garrison my excess PtP scrub sworn swords once I'm done with the 400 PtP wins for that damned obsidian dagger.  I'll give em a bit of training too.  That's really no issue for me to do so.

Can't say that I was ever much of a fan for any of it or sci-fi in general.  I'd watch the odd episode of TNG or DS9 when there wasn't much else on but that's about it.

I've read all the books so far but I've only managed to see just the first season of the show.   I just hope that I won't have to suffer another horrible long wait between books like I had to with A Dance with Dragons, lol.

General Discussion / Re: Alliance Challenges
« on: December 17, 2013, 06:51:54 pm »
This is a tough one, given how long it takes to do these and to accumulate enough damage to award a prize.  That's what I dislike about the AC's and how they're done.  They take a good commitment time wise to attain a top 2/3 spot for the good stuffs.

Maybe drum up a list of what AC offers what, then see who wants what and just try to accommodate as best as possible.  Not exactly the best way of doing it but we just have to try and work within the system as it is.  Ideally, I'd love to see it where AC challenge rewards go into an alliance pool that's available to all members and handed out by leader/officers, not just those who were able to click the most.
